Course Overview

Professionals working in infant and early childhood mental health carry their own lived experiences into every relationship. In this reflective and experiential session, participants will examine how personal histories, identities, and experiences influence their work with children, families, and colleagues. Through guided reflection, discussion, and creative activities, participants will explore the concept of the “invisible backpack” and strengthen their capacity for reflective, self-aware practice.

Introducing LEARN Intensives, a new live virtual event series from ZERO TO THREE. Inspired by the innovation and thought leadership of the LEARN Conference, these interactive deep-dive sessions bring timely topics, emerging research, and leading experts directly to you. Each event offers a unique opportunity to explore the ideas shaping the future of early childhood and engage more deeply with the conversations that matter most to the field.
