Early childhood professionals serving or administering programs for young children and their families. This includes early childhood professionals across the disciplines of physical health, infant and early childhood mental health, child welfare and social services, early identification and intervention, and early childhood education.
Overview
The ZERO TO THREE Competencies for Prenatal to Age 5 (P-5) Professionals™ are designed to help move the early childhood field toward a cross-sector approach to service delivery. By identifying the common knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for professionals working with the prenatal-to-age-5 population, we are building a shared understanding of what it takes to help young children succeed.
