Course Overview
Across the country, Momnibus legislation is emerging as a strategy to address maternal health inequities and improve outcomes for families. This Lecture explores the development of Oregon's Momnibus legislation and the collaboration between policymakers and community advocates that made progress possible. Presenters share lessons learned from the policy development process and highlight how community leadership and legislative partnerships contributed to advancing perinatal health supports, including doulas and culturally responsive care. The presentation offers insights for states seeking to strengthen maternal and infant health policy.
