Course Overview
Implementing Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) within child welfare systems requires balancing fidelity, responsiveness, and the realities of high-stress service environments. This Issue Intensive explores how the Child Welfare Fidelity Tool can be used not only to guide implementation, but also to deepen reflective supervision, strengthen trauma-informed practice, and promote accessible, relationship-based care. Participants will engage in structured discussion and case-based reflection to examine how fidelity-informed supervision supports provider well-being, enhances caregiver engagement, and improves outcomes for infants and young children involved in child welfare. Together, attendees will consider practical strategies for integrating fidelity tools in ways that strengthen both clinical integrity and workforce sustainability.
