Course Overview
An infant and child human rights framework offers a powerful lens for aligning programs, policy, and practice to promote dignity, equity, and relational well-being for children and families. This Lecture explores how international human rights principles can guide advocacy, systems development, and cross-sector collaboration in early childhood work. Presenters review key global human rights documents and demonstrate how these frameworks can help reframe existing initiatives, address disparities, and support innovative partnerships that promote infant and early childhood mental health. The presentation highlights practical tools that help professionals integrate human rights principles into policy development, program design, and community partnerships.
