This Micro-ToT prepares early childhood professional development (PD) specialists to deliver Area 3: Supporting Language and Literacy Development, of the ZERO TO THREE Critical Competencies curriculum (i.e., 9 hours of Critical Competencies professional development). The Micro-ToT also provides information and support for PD specialists and other adult educators who wish to become a ZERO TO THREE Approved Trainer: Critical Competencies, Area 3. Upon completion of the ToT, ZERO TO THREE approved trainers are permitted to synchronously deliver the Area 3 Critical Competencies Course curriculum virtually, in synchronous virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats, as originally designed.

Completion of the Training-of-Trainer events only grants you eligibility to apply for Badging. You will need to apply and submit all Badging requirements stated in the Badged Trainer Overview 14 calendar days after attending the ToT. You are not considered Badged until you receive your ZERO TO THREE Badge in your eLearn Dashboard.
